I am a furniture designer and maker of custom furniture, fixtures and architectural installations in a broad range of materials for residential, retail and commercial clients. I spent the first 15 years of my career growing my Chicago-based studio. I had a small shop in Wicker Park and West Loop with wood and metal working equipment.I create everything from furniture, to modern steel and wood staircases, to fixtures for wine stores and hair salons. In 2010 I moved to St. Louis and settled into the creative neighborhoods of Benton Park and Patch. My work is made specific to an individual, a brand or a neighborhood. I combine various wood species with hot rolled steel, brass, stainless steel, glass, acrylic, even resin and concrete, concentrating on the natural or unique quality of the material itself.
