This year marks the eleventh anniversary of Open Studios STL, featuring over 150 St. Louis-based artists and art spaces open to the public.
Explore on your own or choose from a wide variety of Studio Visits. Experience artists’ processes first-hand and speak with them about their work. Celebrate the St. Louis arts community at the Open Studios Kick-Off Party or during the Young Friends Studio Crawl.
Studios and spaces are open Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, 10:00 am–5:00 pm, with locations east of Grand Boulevard open on Saturday and locations west of Grand Boulevard open on Sunday. Some university spaces are open on Sunday, featuring student works in progress.
The Open Studios STL mobile website provides a complete list of participating artists and events as well as a searchable map. Printed maps are available at CAM—come pick yours up today!
Open Studios STL artists maintain working spaces in St. Louis City or County. CAM has also invited participation by galleries, alternative spaces, arts organizations, and related spaces that present artwork in the St. Louis area.
The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) presents, supports, and celebrates the art of our time. It is the premier museum in St. Louis dedicated to contemporary art. Focused on a dynamic array of changing exhibitions, CAM provides a thought provoking program that reflects and contributes to the global cultural landscape. Through the diverse perspectives offered in its exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives, CAM actively engages a range of audiences to challenge their perceptions. It is a site for discovery, a gathering place in which to experience and enjoy contemporary visual culture.
Open Studios STL 2016 is generously supported by Studio 2108. Special thanks to Community Table Night at Baileys’ Range.
