As a an artist I have found that photography builds stronger people, families and communities; so each project is important regardless of the genre it is within. My creative works are more than just photos; they are the inner most beings experiences and expressions methodically captured through light extraction as proof of occurrence. It is always my hope that the final images also ask the viewer to inquire about the story behind them, as they are representative of something far greater than that which is visible before them.
It is part of my purpose to create. My mission is to offer the viewer of my art works an acquaintance to a new emotional, mental or physical state of being. I cannot say that I know or understand all of the inspiration I have received; and I may also never know the depths of what inspiration I give to the world. I only ask the work to evoke new questions within its viewer that inspire formed opinions.
I exist as I am because of those who have crossed my path along my journey and because of those that existed before us. The work and I are we and we are us.
